COMPLETE LAND PACKAGE

DAY 1: CHIANG MAI – CHIANG RAI (L)

Transfer from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai in the north along one of the most scenic routes to Chiang Rai. En-route we will pay a visit to an elephant training camp to see them at work. Elephant ride is not included, but optional. Before continuing to Thaton we enjoy a Thai Set lunch at a local restaurant. We then will take long tail boats for an exciting 4-hour boat ride from Thaton to Chiang Rai, stopping along the way to visit The Hill Tribe Villages along The Maekok River. We will arrive Chiang Rai in the late afternoon and check-in to your hotel. No dinner is included in this package. Over-night at hotel.

DAY 2: CHIANG RAI (B,L)

American breakfast is at hotel, after which we set off for a full day tour of the northern most points of Thailand. We visit Chiang Sean to visit the ruins of this 700 year old city, then proceed along the Maekhong river to the exact point called The Golden Triangle: The point at which Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar (Burma) meet. We arrive at Sob Ruak on the boarder with Myanmar and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we continue to Doi Mae Salong home to various hill tribes (Akha, Samyak and Yao Pha Duea) A full days has come to an end and we return to Chiang Rai. Over-night at hotel.

DAY 3: CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI

After breakfast and check-out we visit more Hill Tribe villages and see the sites of Chiang Rai on a city and temple tour. Lunch is at The Dusit Island Resort. Then we transfer to Chiang Rai airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Arrive Chiang Mai and transfer to hotel or make connecting flight. End of services.
