DAY 1: BANGKOK – PHITSANULOKE (L/D)
Depart from your selected hotel to Bang-Pa-In, visit the former Summer Palace of The Rama Kings, then continue to Authaya to visit the ruins, temples, and museum of this ancient capital of Siam. Enjoy a Thai lunch en route at a local restaurant. Continue to Loburi for a visit to the temples and museum, then proceed to Phitsanuloke. Late afternoon, arrive at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at The Amari Lagoon Hotel .
DAY 2: PHITSANULOKE – LAMPANG (B/L/D)
Early American breakfast at hotel and check out at 8:00AM. Drive to visit a private collection of Dr. Thaves-Pim, who has created his own folklore museum. Onward towards the ancient town of Sukhothai and Sri Satchanalai. Have lunch enroute at a local restaurant. Journey onto Lampang. Dinner and overnight at Lampang River Lodge .
DAY 3: LAMPANG – CHAINGMAI (B/L/D)
American Breakfast at lodge. We board a bus to Chaingmai. Visit The White Karen Hill Tribes and the Wat Haripoonchai in Lampang. Lunch enroute. Continue on to Bo Sang and San Kam Phaeng, visit the Home Industries Village, which is the center of Thailand’s cotton industry. Hand made crafts, antiques from Burma and local wares are available for purchase. We will visit local shops with specialties in jewelry, wood working, silk, lacquer, and silver. Return to the hotel for dinner and to overnight at The Chiangmai Plaza Hotel .
DAY 4: CHIANGMAI (B/L/D)
After breakfast visit one of Thailand’s most revered temples: The Wat Doi Suthep. The temple is located high in the mountains offering panoramic views of the Chiangmai area. Lunch is at the hotel and your afternoon is at leisure, use this time to relax or explore. Dinner is a typical Kantoke meal with entertainment. Explore the night bazaar at your leisure and try your hand at bargaining for delightful gifts and Thai souvenirs. Over night at hotel.
DAY 5: CHIANGMAI – CHIANG RAI (B/L/D)
After hotel breakfast depart for Chiang Rai. Along the way we visit an elephant training camp at Mae Ping to see how the huge animals are used for working in the jungles. (elephant rides are not included, but are optional…and fun!). We proceed to Fang and Thaton where after lunch we board a long tail boat for a 4-hour exciting boat trip to Chiang Rai. We will visit various Hill Tribe villages along the way. We disembark in Chiang Rai and enjoy dinner and overnight at The Dusit Island Resort.
DAY SIX: CHIANG RAI – BANGKOK (B/L)
Early morning breakfast and transfer to Mae Chan. to visit hill tribes on the way to Mae Sai. Then visit “The Golden Triangle” the exact spot where Thailand, Laos, and Burma meet. Lunch en route to Chiang aen a historical city. Clients ending their tours transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flight to Bangkok. Connect to international flight or hotel. Tours extensions are available. End of services.
